HUMIX Solution · Rising Damp

HUMIX System

A system intended for rising damp cases. It is used when the diagnosis confirms upward moisture in walls and skirting areas, with the aim of supporting the real, progressive drying of the affected building element.

  • Designed for rising damp and upward moisture
  • Clean installation and case-by-case assessment
  • Supported by drying guidance and technical recommendations

What the HUMIX System does

The HUMIX System is intended for cases where the problem matches rising damp. Its role is to form part of a structured intervention focused on stopping recurring deterioration and allowing the wall to begin its stabilisation and progressive drying process.

Rising damp

Works in the right context

It is not intended for every type of damp. It is recommended when the diagnosis points to genuine rising damp.

Drying

Progressive process

The finish does not recover overnight. Wall drying takes time and should be managed with technical criteria.

Objective

Reduce recurring damage

The goal is to stop repeated deterioration in skirting areas, salt deposits, paint and lower finishes.

When it is usually recommended

The HUMIX System is typically recommended when there are patterns compatible with rising damp and when the problem keeps reappearing even after repainting or superficial repair work.

Typical sign

Skirting areas and salt deposits

Flaking finishes, efflorescence, damaged plaster and visible damp concentrated in the lower band of the wall.

Reappearance

It comes back after painting

If the wall is repaired without addressing the cause, the damp often returns over time.

Diagnosis

Not every case fits this system

Before recommending it, rising damp should be distinguished from condensation or local water entry.

How we work with the HUMIX System

First we confirm that the case actually fits rising damp. Then we define coverage, location and drying recommendations. The intervention is planned in an ordered way, with realistic expectations.

1) Case assessment

We review the typical signs, affected height, salts, damage pattern and the relation between the wall and the ground.

2) Installation

Clean installation, correct positioning and a scope adapted to the type of home or commercial space.

3) Drying guidance

We provide recommendations on timing, follow-up and the right moment to restore finishes if appropriate.

Technical application

The system forms part of a complete intervention

Recommending the HUMIX System is not just about the device itself. It goes together with diagnosis, installation, correct interpretation of the drying process and guidance on how to manage finish recovery without rushing the rehabilitation stage.
